SCC’s Phi Beta Lambda Chapter currently taking dress donations for The Cinderella Project

Published: 02/02/2016

Every girl deserves to feel like Cinderella at her prom, so St. Charles Community College’s chapter of Phi Beta Lambda is currently accepting donations of new or gently used prom dresses (long, short, bridal, formal, informal), shoes and accessories for The Cinderella Project.

SCC will donate the dresses and accessories to the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition of St. Louis who will make the dresses, shoes and accessories available to girls in the foster care system who have nothing to wear to prom.

SCC’s first Cinderella Project dress drive was a success, collecting 130 dresses last February.

Donations can be dropped off in Technology Building Room 105 or in the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building Room 1104, at St. Charles Community College, 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville. Donations are accepted Monday-Friday through Feb. 15.
